Itinerary
Day 1
If you are looking for to stay in the area the night before we can recommend some accommodations, unfortunately at this time we don't have our. Please contact us for great deals on these.
We will spend much of the first day exploring Dartmoor on a variety of tracks with a few sections off the beaten track at a slow pace taking in our surroundings. We shall also stop periodically to enjoy the rolling hills and history of Dartmoor, away from the worries of normal life, technology and social media. We actively encourage photo taking and BUT you'll most benefit from this experience without technology. We will be covering approximately 8 miles (12 kms) in open terrain while this is like quite a lot we will have all day to cover this distance.
After our walk around the moor, we'll arrive at our pre arrange 'wild' glamping site situated in the heart of the moor. Our private campsite contains everything you need to for a greats nights sleep with one of our 5 metre bells tents, which come with kitchen area and comfy beds. Before retiring to the tents we a communal area, with fire bowl, basic toilet facility's with a loo and shower. You'll also find out hamper with all your food for breakfast and the dinner and few extra special local treats for you to try, to give you a true feel for Devon.
Our evenings we'll share stories of adventure and the outdoors or where the conversation leads us.
Day 2
Waking up to a the sounds of nature as we rise this morning and maybe a fantastic sunrise (we'll book this but the weather gods are somewhat unreliable). After getting ourselves sorted with some breakfast, we'll head out on a shorter walk today covering approximately 5 miles 8kms. Hopefully we'll be able to show you something a bit special today.
